45 hours to take-off

I'm writing this partly to be sure I know how to use this program before I leave.

As a side-note for anyone reading this, I will have my phone with me in Korea for emergencies and so that I can occasionally let my parents know I am still alive. Keeping my phone on while I'm there, however, means that I will be charged international charges for any calls and/or text messages I receive while overseas. I am asking that people please rely on this blog or on email to communicate with me rather than calling or texting me. Thanks for your consideration in this.

Please consider me in your prayers over the next month and a half as I will be stretched mentally, spiritually, and even physically (I'm not a big fish eater! - yikes...).

Much love,

Karissa

You owe me so much of an update it's unbelievable!! I'm in Nashville and deeply saddened that I will not see you when I return; however, I know that this trip will stretch you in ways you could not have imagined and that the Lord will bless you and those you meet. Remember the Least of These in all that you do and rely on the joy of the Lord as your strength! (I can say that with experience now!) Love you Tons and tons!

Hi all! I'm in Korea now, but unfortunately the sign-in button is in Korean and I haven't yet figured out how to post a new blog... This will have to work for now. I'm alive and well, eating countless new foods (Korean BBQ is amazing, and we get to sit on the floor!), being treated like a queen, and enjoying getting to know my teammates. I hope to figure out how to blog soon so I can share more with you all. Camp starts on Monday and I'll be teaching English for the first time, EVER, so you can be praying for this time to interact with the kids. Thanks!
